You may hear from a visiting guest, where is the lake? Well, it’s called Red Feather Lakes. One of the wonders of Red Feather are the approximately 20 fishable lakes that you will find. We have a wonderful selection of public lakes that allow camping and private lakes that you can join, they all support a healthy population of trout for your enjoyment, and dinner!
The public lakes include Dowdy Lake, West Lake, Parvin Lake, Creedmore Lake, Lost Lake and Bellaire Lake. Each provides its own glimpse into the Colorado Rocky Mountains. If you’re looking for camping options, the most popular are Dowdy, West and Bellaire Lake. For a more outback experience, Creedmore Lake and Lost Lake provide National Forest camping, where reservations are not needed. The private lakes of Red Feather Village include Ramona Lake, Snake Lake, Letitia Lake, Apache Lake, Nokomis Lake, Shagwa Lake, Erie Lake, Hiawatha Lake.
